NUKI Smart Lock Pro 5th Gen
The Nuki Smart Lock Pro (5th Gen) is a compact, high-performance smart lock designed for modern European-style doors. It installs on the interior side of your door over an existing Euro cylinder, allowing you to upgrade to keyless access without drilling or changing exterior hardware.

Nuki uses state-of-the-art encryption mechanisms commonly used in online-banking. All communication with the Smart Lock is protected with end-to-end encryption. We also have our Smart Lock regularly inspected and certified by independent security institutes. The Nuki Smart Lock was once again certified by AV-TEST as a secure smart home product in 2025.

All Nuki Smart Locks are installed on the inside of your door without needing any technical know-how, drilling, or special tools. Our Smart Locks can be installed and removed without leaving any residue or marks, and are therefore also ideal for rented apartments.
While all Nuki Smart Locks can be installed in minutes on your own, the exact installation process would depend on the type of Smart Lock you own.
We have step-by-step guides on our website and app for a quick and simple installation experience. -
You’ll always receive a warning when your lock’s battery level drops below 20%, giving you more than enough time to quickly recharge your device.
Users who own a Smart Lock Ultra, or any other Smart Lock combined with a Nuki Universal Cylinder, can still use a physical key to open their door - even with the Smart mounted on the door!
For all other users, if your current door cylinder has a so-called "emergency function", you can also simply use your keys to unlock your door. -
Your Smart Lock Pro is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module and can be connected directly to your Wi-Fi at home. No additional Bridge or hub needed. It is also capable to be connected to your Wi-Fi via your Matter over Thread integration, if you have a suitable hub. No Bridge or additional Hub is required. Remote Access is already included and no additional payments are required to use it.

Even if you don't have your phone with you, you can still open your door in many ways:
Asking someone with an access permission to open it for your remotely
Using a smartwach
Using one of our accessories to open your door with a code, fingerprint, or a Fob
Using the Nuki Web service to open your door without a phone
We recommend that you only use Nuki with a cylinder with emergency function. This means you can always unlock your door with your mechanical key, even if there is a key inserted on the inside of your cylinder, which is the case when using the Nuki Smart Lock.

The Smart Lock Pro has a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be fully charged within two hours. Thanks to the magnetic charging port it can be easily charged directly on your door. Of course it can also be charged while being dismantled from the door.

Battery life depends heavily on your usage, door type, locking modes, and other factors. In general, your Smart Lock Pro will last for months on a single charge.
